Prerequisite – Apprentice status, apprentice log, as well as completion of the minimum client hours as specified below.
All supervised apprentice hours must be completed with one master trainer.
There are 3 options for the apprentice supervised hours, please note options below.
The Master Trainer will initial all Supervised Hours on the Log Sheet. However it is up to the discretion of the Master Trainer to give the final signature on the Log Sheet to approve the successful completion of the entire Apprenticeship.
OPTION 1:
2 segments with 3 consecutive days each, 5 hours per day, total: 15 hours each segment.
The Apprentice must complete a total of 60 “teaching client hours” and 30 Supervised Apprentice hours with a Master Trainer throughout the entire Apprenticeship.
Segment #1: 3 consecutive days, 5 hours each day, total of 15 hours.
Prerequisite for segment #1 – The apprentice must have at least 20 “teaching client hours” documented in the Apprentice Log Sheet.

Segment #2: 3 consecutive days, 5 hours each day, total of 15 hours.
Prerequisite for segment #2 - The apprentice must have at least a total of 40 “teaching client hours” documented in the Apprentice Log Sheet.
Prerequisite 40 client teaching hours.
There must be a period of at least 2 weeks between the last day of the Supervised Apprentice Hours and the first day of the Final certification Course.
Option 2:
6 consecutive days each, 5 hours per day, total: 30 hours
Prerequisite 30 “client teaching hours” documented in the Apprentice Log sheet.
Prerequisite 30 client teaching hours.
The Apprentice must complete a total of 60 “teaching client hours” and 30 Supervised Apprentice hours with a Master Trainer throughout the entire Apprenticeship.
There must be a period of at least 2 weeks between the last day of the Supervised Apprentice Hours and the first day of the Final certification Course.
30 hours teaching clients – 6 days/30 hours supervised – additional 30 hours teaching clients = 60 hours teaching clients + 30 hours supervised sessions, total 90 hours.

Option 3:
Retaking an ENTIRE Foundation Teacher Training Course
Prerequisite: before retaking the course, the Apprentice must have at least 20 “teaching client hours” documented in the Apprentice Log sheet.
Retaking the Foundation Course: 12 days, 60 hours total;
By retaking the Foundation Course with a Master Trainer credit is given for 30 supervised hours plus 20 teaching hours.
After the Foudation Teacher Training Course, the Apprentice must continue to teach a further 20 “teaching client hours”.
There must be a period of at least 2 weeks between the last day of the Supervised Apprentice Hours and the first day of the Final certification Course.
