GYROTONIC® Apprentice Review

Prerequisite – Apprentice status, apprentice log, as well as completion of the minimum client teaching hours as outlined below.

The supervising master trainer will initial all supervised review hours on the apprentice's log sheet. However it is up to the discretion of the supervising master trainer to give the final signature on the log sheet to indicate the successful completion of the apprenticeship.

All supervised apprentice hours must be completed with one master trainer.


Note below the three options for completion of the apprentice supervised hours.

Option 1

    Melbourne Segment 1 - March 1 -3, 2024

    Melbourne - Segment 2 - March 8 -10, 2024

    Melbourne Segment 1 - May 25 - 27, 2024 

    Melbourne Segment 2 - May 31 - June 2, 2024

    Note: You can take only Segment 1 if you are not ready to complete both segments at one time and complete Segment 2 at the later time, so you can mix and match the dates. 

    2 segments 3 consecutive days each, 5 hours per day, total 15 hours per segment.
    The apprentice must complete a total of 60 “teaching client hours” and 30 supervised apprentice hours with the same master trainer during the apprenticeship period.

    Segment #1:  3 consecutive days, 5 hours per day, total of 15 hours.
    Prerequisite for segment #1 – a minimum 20 “teaching client hours” documented in their apprentice log sheet.

    Segment #2:  3 consecutive days, 5 hours per day, total of 15 hours.
    Prerequisite for segment #2 – a minimum total of 40 “teaching client hours” documented in their apprentice log sheet.

    60 hours teaching clients + 30 hours supervised apprentice review = total 90 hours to complete the apprentice period and be eligible to participate in the level 1 certification course.

    There must be a period of at least 2 weeks between the last day of segment 2 of  the supervised apprentice hours and the first day of the final certification course.

  • Cost

    Segment 1 $750.00 AUD including studio fee.

    Segment 2 $750.00 AUD including studio fee.

    50% deposit is required to reserve your spot by January 12, 2024, for the March dates and by March 24, 2024, for the May dates.  Balance of payment will be due on the first day of each segment of the training.

Option 2

    6 consecutive days, 5 hours per day, total 30 hours

    Prerequisite:  30 “client teaching hours” documented in the Apprentice Log sheet.

    Students must bring their apprentice log sheet on the first day of the course.

    The apprentice must complete a total of 60 “teaching client hours” and 30 supervised apprentice hours with the same  master trainer during the  apprenticeship period.
    There must be a minimum period of at least 2 weeks between the last day of the supervised apprentice hours and the first day of the final certification course.

    Minimum total apprentice hours consist of:

    30 hours teaching clients

    6 days/30 hours supervised apprentice hours with one master trainer

    An additional 30 hours teaching clients

    60 hours teaching clients + 30 hours supervised apprentice review = total 90 hours to complete the apprentice period and be eligible to participate in the level 1 certification course.

Option 3

    Melbourne - January 5 -17, 2024

    Retaking an ENTIRE level 1 foundation teacher training Course 12 days, 60 hours total

    Prerequisite: prior to retaking the course, the apprentice must have a minimum of  20 “teaching client hours” documented in their apprentice log sheet.

    When retaking the foundation course  credit is given for the 30 supervised apprentice hours plus 20 client   teaching hours.

    After the Foundation Teacher Training Course, the Apprentice must continue to teach a further 20 “teaching client hours”.

    There must be a period of at least 2 weeks between the last day of this course as supervised apprentice hours and the first day of the final certification course.
