Dana Rader

Training with Dana Rader you can be sure that you are training with one of the most qualified and talented professionals in the industry.

Dana is the only Specialized GYROTONIC® and  GYROKINESIS® International Master Trainer in Australia. She is also a Master Trainer on the Specialized equipment;  GYROTONER® Leg Extension Unit, and Jumping stretching Board as well as a GYROTONIC® Level 2 International Master Trainer.

Dana is an international and national presenter, and has presented on the GYROKINESIS® exercise method at the IADMS conference in 2007 and 2012 as well as presenting at; Mind your Body, and Australian Pilates Method Association conferences.

Dana is trained in Pilates as a Post-Rehab instructor with Polestar, is certified by Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA) and holds Physical Mind Method certifications in Mat and Standing Pilates. Dana also completed a cert 4 and a Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology.

She has completed a Post Graduate degree in Exercise Science Rehabilitation at Charles Sturt University, and is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist with ESSA (Exercise Sport Science Australia). Dana is also a member of the Exercise is Medicine Network in Australia.

Dana has completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment which directly relates to her role of offering instructor training courses in GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methodology as well as Pilates.

Dana is also a principal owner of Reset-U-Retreats offering movement and wellbeing destination retreats.


Jodie McGuinness

Jodie McGuinness has been practicing the GYROTONIC® method for 15 years in Melbourne. Jodie was Dana’s first Australian client in the GYROTONIC® method and the first person in Australia to practice GYROTONIC® exercise. After studying with Dana Rader as her Master Trainer, Jodie became a certified Level 1 GYROTONIC® instructor in 2005, Jodie is also now certified on the Jumping Stretching Board, GYROTONER® and Leg Extension Unit. Jodie took leave from her corporate event planning career to give birth to twin sons and a daughter. Jodie continued to practice the GYROTONIC® method through the course of her pregnancies and was back in the studio practicing and teaching within 3 months. She brings her personal experience with the method into her teaching and enjoys working with pre-natal, post natal women, as well as all new mums.


Katja Povse

Katja was born in Slovenia, she is a movement teacher and a visual artist. Her passion for dance and her love of movement ignited her desire to explore the physiological body as well as the human psyche.

Whether drawing her ideas on canvas, or exploring them through movement she is fascinated by the mind body connection and the science of neuroplasticity. Katja has travelled and studied several healing modalities as a result of personally experiencing multiple injuries and trauma. Her injuries inspired her to push beyond her comfort zone and seek answers.

In 2014 she was introduced to the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods and immediately recognized the healing potential. After immersing herself in the methods for the last few years she became a certified instructor in both methods in 2017. She loves the diversity the methods offer clients and she enjoys working with people of all ages and capabilities. She is detailed in her teaching however always encouraging her clients’ to search for the inner dancer as everyone can dance and allow their spirts to fly.
