Dana Rader

Training with Dana Rader you can be sure that you are training with one of the most qualified and talented professionals in the industry.

Dana is the only Specialized GYROTONIC® and  GYROKINESIS® International Master Trainer in Australia. She is also a Master Trainer on the Specialized equipment;  GYROTONER® Leg Extension Unit, and Jumping stretching Board as well as a GYROTONIC® Level 2 International Master Trainer.

Dana is an international and national presenter, and has presented on the GYROKINESIS® exercise method at the IADMS conference in 2007 and 2012 as well as presenting at; Mind your Body, and Australian Pilates Method Association conferences.

Dana is trained in Pilates as a Post-Rehab instructor with Polestar, is certified by Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA) and holds Physical Mind Method certifications in Mat and Standing Pilates. Dana also completed a cert 4 and a Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology.

She has completed a Post Graduate degree in Exercise Science Rehabilitation at Charles Sturt University, and is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist with ESSA (Exercise Sport Science Australia). Dana is also a member of the Exercise is Medicine Network in Australia.

Dana has completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment which directly relates to her role of offering instructor training courses in GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methodology as well as Pilates.

Dana is also a principal owner of Reset-U-Retreats offering movement and wellbeing destination retreats.

Jodie McGuinness

Jodie McGuinness has been practicing the GYROTONIC® method for 20 years in Melbourne. Jodie was Dana’s first Australian client in the GYROTONIC® method and the first person in Australia to practice the GYROTONIC® method. After studying with Dana Rader as her Master Trainer, Jodie became a certified Level 1 GYROTONIC® instructor in 2005 and has since been certified as a Level 2 GYROTONIC® instructor. Jodie is also certified and teaches on all specialized equipment, including the Jumping Stretching Board, GYROTONER® and Leg Extension Unit. She brings her personal experience with the method into her teaching and enjoys working with pre-natal, post natal women, as well as all new mums.


Marta Van Heerden

Marta was introduced to the GYROTONIC® method while she was living and teaching Pilates in Hong Kong. Marta took her interest in the GYROTONIC® method to the next level after she moved to Australia and started her GYROTONIC® teacher training here in Melbourne in 2017. Having a very stiff body, the GYROTONIC® method helped her to gain mobility, flexibility and an opportunity to move the way she’d never moved before. She took her passion to the next level by completing Level 2 GYROTONIC® method, GYROTONER® leg extension unit and Jumping Stretching Board certifications. Marta is passionate about sharing everything she has to offer, striving at all times to tailor her sessions to the needs and goals of her clients.

Marta is also a Polestar certified pilates instructor and mentor, a busy mum to her 2 teenagers and a keen tennis player.


Katja Povse

Katja is a movement teacher and visual artist, fascinated by the mind-body connection and the science of neuro-plasticity. She is a certified instructor in the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® method as well as in specialised equipment. She is also an authorized Pre-trainer in the GYROTONIC® method under Master Trainer Dana Rader. She is detail-oriented and loves to work with people of all ages and capabilities.


Kyle Davey

Kyle is a licenced GYROTONIC® method instructor with a Graduate Diploma of Elite Dance Instruction from the Australian Ballet School. He has performed with professional ballet companies in Europe, Canada and Australia, and continues to teach ballet and contemporary dance. He is attracted to the GYROTONIC® method because of the freedom and fluidity, as well as the way it allows the body to move in an assisted and structured way.

Ai Mei

Ai Mei Khor

Ai Mei discovered GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® when she moved to Melbourne 3 years ago. GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® helped her pre and post pregnancy and complemented her Pilates instruction. She was encouraged to take up the teacher training for the GYROKINESIS® and the GYROTONIC® methods by Master Trainer, Dana Rader. She hasn't looked back since and continues learning and delving deeper. You can find Ai Mei teaching online group GYROKINESIS® classes on Tuesday afternoons or in-studio private sessions on Wednesday mornings.


Bianca Debden

Bianca came across the GYROTONIC® method about 2 years ago and just loves everything about the method. She is now a licensed GYROTONIC® instructor and has been studying under the direction of Master Trainer Dana Rader.

She is also a Pilates Instructor with a Diploma through National Pilates Training and is currently a Level 1 Pilates Alliance Australia Member. She comes from a dance background, with a Diploma in Dance, then did a stint in the corporate world and came back to movement.

She is currently studying for Cert 4 Allied Health Assistant in Sports and Fitness and enjoys learning about and working in the areas of general fitness, movement rehabilitation for neurological disorders and strength and conditioning for dancers and athletes.


Mien Tan

Mien first discovered the GYROTONIC® method in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she was training in Argentine Tango. She continues to train with Master Trainer Dana Rader in both the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods, which has led her on a journey of recovery, greater freedom of movement and mind-body attunement.

She is also a self-discovery coach and founder of Meanderful Coaching. She has a Master in Public Health, is trained in somatic movement modalities, positive neuroplasticity and mindful self-compassion. She speaks Chinese, Spanish and French.
