GYROKINESIS® Certified Trainer

    1. The GYROKINESIS® Happy Moves course is one of the 4 GYROKINESIS® musical courses developed by Juliu Horvath. This course consists of an 50 minute series seated on the stool and 2 standing sequences choreographed to orchestrated music. This course will serve as your update course to renew your GYROKINESIS® certified trainer level 1 licenses well as well as your GYROTONIC® license if you hold both.
    2. The GYROKINESIS® Lotus Blossom Program 1 and Nerve Strengthening Sequence is one of the 3 musical courses developed by Juliu Horvath. This course consists of floor work and two nerve strengthening standing series. It incorporates the principals from the level 1 GYROKINESIS® and provides a challenging transition to beginners level 2 work. This course will serve as your 2 year update to renew your GYROKINESIS® level 1 license as well as your  GYROTONIC® license if you hold both.
    3. GYROKINESIS® Lotus Blossom Program 2 Course with Shivering Sequence is one of the 3 musical courses developed by Juliu Horvath. This course is intended to continuing advancing the method towards GYROKINESIS® level 2  sequences and movements.  This course will serve as your 2 year update to renew your GYROKINESIS® level 1 license as well as your GYROTONIC®license if you hold both.
    4. The GYROKINESIS®  Certified Trainer Update Course will serve as your 2 year update to renew your GYROKINESIS® license. If you are also a certified GYROTONIC® level 1 instructor this course will also update your GYROTONIC® license for a further 2 years. This course will cover a review of format 1 and format 2 this will include all new information including additional standing series. If you would like a review of the formats as well as a breakdown of the preparations this would be the update for you.
    5. The GYROKINESIS® Pre-Trainer Update Course will cover a review of format 1 and format 2 this will include all new information including additional standing series.
    6. The GYROKINESIS® Breathing Course Intensive combines elements of the GYROKINESIS® Happy Moves and Nerve Strengthening Series combined with the GYROKINESIS® Metamorphosis Breathing class. This course serves as your 2 year update for your GYROKINESIS® license as well as an update for your GYROTONIC® license if you hold both.
    7. GYROKINESIS® Beginners Level 2 course is the prerequisite to participating in GYROKINESIS® Level 2 course. This course introduces new exercises and choreography deepening the level of understanding and knowledge of  the GYROKINESIS® level 1 curriculum. The instructor will learn a completely new class format over the 6 days and be required to teach this format at the end of the course to successfully complete the course. This course will serve as your 2 year update for your GYROKINESIS® license as well as an update for your GYROTONIC® license if you hold both.

GYROKINESIS® Beginners Level 2 Course

    Course to be given by GYROKINESIS® SMT Adrianna Thompson

    ADRIANNA THOMPSON is one of a few Specialized Master Teachers in the world authorized to certify new teachers in both GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS®. She was fortunate to work extensively with founder Juliu Horvath privately at White Cloud Studio in NYC and has been teaching the GYROTONIC® Method for over 30 years across the globe including Western & Eastern Europe, Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand,  Australia, South America and throughout the US. Adrianna and her colleague Miriam Barbosa developed a specialized training program specific to dance under the guidance of Juliu Horvath. In 2008 they began teaching this innovative training program: GYROTONIC® Applications for Dancers Level I & II. The dance community responded so positively to the rehabilitative and strengthening elements of the program that it has become one of the most highly demanded training series available. Based on requests from hundreds of participants deeply impacted from the program a Level III Master Class Series is now offered.

    An accomplished professional dancer, choreographer and teacher she has worked with dancers from New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Jose Limon Dance Company, Martha Graham, Ballet West and Aspen Santa Fe Ballet and was on faculty at Aspen Santa Fe Ballet for 10 years. She has been a guest teacher at Missouri River Dance Company, Kansas School of Classical Ballet and Martha Graham Dance Company.

    Adrianna has been the Choreographer & Artistic Director of SOULSKIN Dance since 2014 and is the Resident Choreographer of The Aspen Fringe Festival. Her company has premiered works at Dance Mission Theater, PUSHFest, SjDANCEco, Mark Foehringer Dance Project (Dancing in the Park SF), Santa Barbara HH11 Dance Festival, and was presented twice at the Aspen Art Museum and numerous times at Aspen Fringe Festival. Adrianna has brought SOULSKIN Dance to NYC since 2022 where she  has choreographed new dance works at New York Live Arts and Mark Morris Dance Center. Her latest collaboration, Fractured, will premiere at Ailey Citigroup Theater in February and her  dance Blinded will be presented at Alchemy Arts Collective in Joshua Tree CA. in the spring.

    There will be an additional studio fee of $600.00 AUD to pay for the traveling master trainers travel expenses and studio hire. This amount does need to be paid when you register for the course to reserve your spot in the course. Deadline for registration is February 28. 2026.
